Job Description

We have partnered with an established Developer with an in-house GC arm who are looking to add to their team due to growth and strong backlog of work.


They build in multiple sectors including hospitality, multi-family, office buildings, commercial, and light industrial and over 75% of their work comes from repeat clients! The upper management team believes in results over micro-management and leads from the front.


Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the construction project
  • Ensure all professionals on site comply with building and safety regulations
  • Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
  • Keep the project within budget
  • Ensure all material is on site and not damaged and secured while in storage.
  • Report on progress
  • Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager
  • Deep understanding of construction management methods and processes for both ground up and fitout/interior renovation projects
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes
  • Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and software (ProCore is ideal)
